What’s New On TV Tonight? “How I Met Your Mother”, “Cougar Town”, “DWTS”, & “Bad Girls Club”

How I Met Your Mother 8-8:30pm, CBS. Barney attempts to impress his father (John Lithgow) by making his life sound more exciting.

Chuck 8-9pm, NBC. Chuck and Sarah turn to her father (Gary Cole) for help with their wedding after they’re conned out of their savings.

Cougar Town 9:30-10pm, ABC. After several weeks on the bench, the underrated sitcom returns in the cushy post-Dancing with the Stars slot, which should aid Bobby and Laurie’s plans to expose the world to Penny Can.

United States of Tara 10:30-11pm, SHOW. After T’s dangerous fight with Charmaine, Tara attempts to make a deal with her alters.
