What’s New On TV Tonight? “Greys Anatomy” Musical Event, “Big Bang Theory” and “Mobbed” premiere’s

Posted by ImaJustSaying on March 31, 2011

Tonight is the Musical Event.. I SWEAR THIS TIME!!

Sara Ramirez might be a Tony Award winning singer, but the actress is not the only Seattle Grace doctor belting it out tonight on the “Grey’s Anatomy: The Music Event.”

On tonight’s episode – which begins with a bloodied unconscious Callie on the hood of a car – cast members will sing some of the show’s most memorable songs from over the years, including “Chasing Cars” by Snow Patrol and “How to Save a Life” by The Fray. The bands’ featured presence on the show helped launch them to stardom.  (video below)

The Big Bang Theory 8-8:30pm, CBS. Sheldon and the guys investigate who might have hacked his online-gaming account.

Mobbed 9-10pm, FOX. Yes, it’s a television show about flash mobs. However, while most flash mobs last only a few minutes, this show will go on for an hour.

The Mentalist 10-11pm, CBS. A man that had previously claimed to be abducted by aliens is murdered and his body stolen.

Archer 10-10:30pm, FX. Pam is abducted by kidnappers, causing ISIS to go into lockdown.

Greys Anatomy 9-10pm, ABC. As a momentous event hits Seattle Grace-Mercy West, Callie (who’s about to undergo something big herself) imagines the hospital in a new way.

Song Of The Day: Mary J. Blige – Family Affair

Posted by ImaJustSaying on March 31, 2011

No Holleration!!!

Family Affair” is a 2001 hit song for Mary J. Blige, produced by Dr. Dre. It was taken from her fifth album, No More Drama, and was responsible for popularizing the terms “hateration” and “dancery” in the US, as well as contributing to the popularity of the word “crunk”.

The music for “Family Affair” was originally created in a jam session between Dr. Dre and musicians Mel-Man, Camara Kambon and Mike Elizondo. Later, Blige heard the song and she and her brother Bruce Miller contributed the lyrics and melody. Finally, Dr. Dre produced Blige’s vocals, but this was done at a distance because at the time he was busy filming the movie Training Day.

The single topped the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks from November 3, 2001. It was Blige’s first Hot 100 number-one, although she had previously reached number two with “Not Gon’ Cry” in 1996.

Bravo Renews 5 Shows and Adds 11 New Shows To The Lineup

Posted by ImaJustSaying on March 30, 2011

Bravo has proved to be a channel that has a very strong identity and fan base. And has led the NBC Universal–owned network to confidently announce today that they’re going to be picking up 11 new shows.

You read that number right. The 11 that are being picked up include new shows from some of the network’s most recognizable stars, like Jeff Lewis and Tabitha Coffey, and will also include a New York spin-off of their popular real estate show ‘Million Dollar Listing.’

Bravo announced the return of five shows: ‘Top Chef Just Desserts,’ ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ ‘Bethenny Ever After’ and ‘Tabatha’s Salon Takeover.’

Here’s Bravo’s description of all 11 new shows:

“Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis”
Produced by Authentic Entertainment with Lauren Lexton, Tom Rogan and Sara Mast serving as Executive Producers

Everyone’s favorite obsessive-compulsive house-flipper is taking on a new role – as a therapist? “Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis” follows Jeff and Jenni as they move into someone else’s home and Jeff does what Jeff does best: redesign their space and judge their flaws. He’ll observe the homeowners, diagnose their problems, and then take over their house for five days – with the goal of improving them inside and out. Of course he does this by using a combination of brutal honesty, impeccable design, and a few unique solutions that only Jeff Lewis could come up with, but he has his trusted assistant Jenni and his loyal housekeeper Zoila along for the ride to make sure he doesn’t go too far over the line. This time, Jeff’s not just redesigning a space; he’s redesigning people’s lives.

Top Chef All Stars Season Finale Tonight – Preview and Antonia’s Exit Interview

Posted by ImaJustSaying on March 30, 2011

Top Chef All Stars final two: Mike Isabella and Richard Blais

Wednesday night’s main event features Richard Blais against Mike Isabella for the title of ‘Top Chef’ for the all-star season.

Tonight, we crown this season’s winner, but not before the final two – Richard and Mike – can create the restaurant of their dreams to show the judges everything they can do to win it all. Of course they get sous chefs to help them achieve this, chefs who have been eliminated this season. The twist, though, is they will pick them in a blind test just by tasting their food and not knowing who cooked it.

So far this season to get here, Mike Isabella was very steady the whole season. Only once, in an Italian challenge of all things, was he in danger of going home. Despite being on the losing Restaurant Wars team, he basically put the group on his back while Marcel melted down. He was never too high or low, picked up a couple of Quickfire wins and made the final group.

Nene Can’t Be Dating Al Reynolds – She’s Too Busy Wooing Taylor Armstrong

Posted by tinselkitty on March 30, 2011

Well, that and the whole still-not-yet-filed-for-divorce-from-Gregg thing, even though she’s always insinuating that she’s going to. What’s it been, two years now? I’m starting to think she doesn’t really mean it. Could it be that she just went to talk to a big time divorce lawyer…for show? Gasp!

HOLY CHIT BATMAN!! Real Housewives of New Jersey Teresa Giudice Got Punched In The Face!!

Posted by ImaJustSaying on March 29, 2011

IT WAS ONLY CHAMPANGE U HUUAARREEE!!!

The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice is known for causing a scene, and that’s just what she did while vacationing with the cast in the Dominican Republic last month – leading the star to be punched in the face and several of her cast mates in police custody!

RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned Teresa was the reason behind the February 23 bar brawl at the Hard Rock in Punta Cana and it was her playful antics that didn’t sit well with at least one bar patron in particular.

“It was late, they were on vacation, and she was just having fun,” said a show insider.

“She opened the champagne and just started spraying it everywhere and it went all over this woman near her.”

According to the source, the drenched woman’s husband did not take kindly to the rowdy group and physically attacked Teresa.

“It was crazy, he got really angry and punched Teresa in the face!”

Bethenny Ever After ♥♥♥ Recap – Ice Castles and Hassles

Posted by ImaJustSaying on March 29, 2011

A girls night out with Bethenny’s posse to talk about her upcoming birthday party and let loose sounds like an opportunity for some flirting and bad dance moves.  How funny was drunk Julie and her Metro Card dance?  I want to party with Julie and hope there are more out takes on this scene.  At least we didn’t see any ‘schlong and turf’.  Yeah yeah I know, Bethenny is the queen of inappropriateness and gave all of her posse the license to behave badly.  Of course the single guy had to be names Jason.  Single Jason the general manager got his camera time in and maybe now he will get a raise.  From his boss, not the single girls.

Dancing With The Stars Recap with video’s of performances

Posted by ImaJustSaying on March 29, 2011

This season of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ could easily turn into the ‘Ralph Macchio and Kirstie Alley Show,’ since both fan favorites have proved entertaining and fun on the dance floor. But, for me, this week’s main attraction was Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas’ mime jive.

I thought Carrie Ann and Len were a little tough and labeled them too contemporary.  If they didn’t like the theme, they performed very well and certainly Chelsea has talent waiting for her partner to properly choreagraph.

While stars, like Ralph and Kirstie, are surely safe (I hope), it was time for the others to try to distinguish themselves from the rest of the pack in order to keep up. While I’m already on board with the obvious fan favorites, I’ve become a new fan of Chelsea who didn’t make a big impression last week.
