That Hole’s Plenty Big Enough, Kyle. No Need To Keep Digging It Deeper.

Chicken. Egg. Chicken. Egg. Kim’s issues. Kyle’s behavior. Chicken. Egg. ‘Tis the eternal question. While we may never know the answer to the chicken/egg conundrum, it’s becoming more and more obvious which Richards is the cause and which Richards is the effect.

From Us Magazine

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards says that her niece Paris Hilton has helped her navigate the murky waters of fame.

“I talk to her about it all the time,” she told NYMag.com. “She’s obviously gone through all this and she’s become very strong.”

Hilton’s words of advice? “She told me people will make things up and they’ll attack you, and it’s very difficult. She’s helped me learn to be a little thicker-skinned. I’ve heard so much about the show, and people have been so kind and it’s really been very touching.”

The hardest part about filming the Bravo show was her watching the explosive fight with sister Kim, shown on the season finale. “When I had my argument with my sister, people were very angry about that. And it was so painful to me because I kept thinking — I wanted to call each and every person and be like, “No, let me explain!” But you can’t. It’s painful.”

She and Kim are on better terms now. “Kim and I are good. It took a while, but we’re happy. We’ve put it behind us and we’re moving forward. We had a very rough time though. We both needed to heal and discuss the things that had happened, off-camera. There were other things that led up to that moment. So it was a very difficult time. And it was difficult having that play out on television, because the viewers don’t judge you by your lifetime of history together. It looks like just a moment.”

And being on the show has made her reexamine how she treats Kim. “I think that it’s taught me that what I was doing [with Kim] wasn’t working. Now I don’t try to step in as much, and I let her be who she is.”

Translation – “Kim finally quit being such a bitch about it and gave up on ever expecting me to treat her better so we’re all good now. Thank god, too, I thought she was never going to let it go. What a baby. Can you believe she went and made all those Housewives viewers think I was the horrible one? She should be apologizing to me, but I’m so wonderful I’m not going to make her do that. I learned how to be so gracious and fabulous from Paris Hilton. She’s my niece, you know. We talk, like, all the time. We talk so much that Bravo had a hard time getting any good footage of me at all because I was always on the phone with Paris. In fact, I might not come back next season unless they can guarantee me at least 130 hours a week that I can devote to Paris. Did you know she’s my niece? Nicky’s so lucky. Why couldn’t Paris be my sister? Why can’t anything good ever happen for meeeeeeeee?”

Didn’t Lisa say that all the ladies were depicted pretty much as they really are on the show?
