From the Los Angeles Police Department scanner – white male, dressed in red and/or purple, last seen running from the Millennium Biltmore Hotel on Tuesday, January 4, 2011. May be armed with a blade of some sort. Officers are instructed to refrain from interacting with the suspect without a third party present to witness the encounter.
