Tell Me What You Want to Talk About
Ladies and gents, I’m totally digging on this blogging thing. It’s like, totally awesome, dude. Now that I’m off and running with my newfound powers, I have decided to go all in and conquer the world. This is where y’all come in.
This is your chance to pipe up and be heard. Unlike certain congressional critters who shall remain nameless, I will not forget the people who first gave me the boost that led to total domination. Tell me what you’re looking for. Is it more Housewives gossip? A safe place to discuss your secret Real World addiction? Deep, daily discussions on the brilliance that is Mad Men? The Daily Show and Colbert Report updates? Is there a market for…gulp…Kate Gosselin news?
So yeah, harness your inner patriot, no matter how beat down and tired it is, and vote. You can vote as early and often as you’d like. Wear whatever t-shirt you’d like to the polling place. Stand outside others’ wifi connections and lobby for your favorite candidates. Put signs up in your yard and bumper stickers on your car. We don’t have no stinkin’ voting regulations ’round here. Lay it out for everyone to see. We promise to only make fun of you a little bit. At a time. Every day. Forever. If it gets to be too much, don’t worry, “campaign contributions” can go a long way towards getting more of what you want and less of what you don’t.
What, I didn’t say I had any better ethics than congress. Just that I wouldn’t forget you when I bring about the apocolypse and/or the singularity.

Two Words…More everything. I know thats not grammatically correct, but I couldn’t think of anything else, and IJS, it can include More Porn, or More Housewives, or More Men. Possibilities are endless.

Agree, men would be nice. Love legends. Great actors (including Hamm), also music greats. Just watched the new PBS special on John Lennon tonight. For anyone that missed it, it’s replaying several times this week.

Well, Rosie, the only problem is that they don’t generate all that much gossip these days, unless you want to hear about who reorganized my shirts by color and who added some cozy touches to the man closet. Maybe a DIY series?
Thanks for the John Lennon tip. Off to set the DVR now. I wonder if he and Yoko would have stayed together.

Tinselkitty, I think you’re doing great. My only wish is that there be a bit simpler way to track the posts and view things. A little different format if that’s possible? To be fair to you, I am a blonde and I am completely technologically challenged. HAHA But no matter what, I’m TEAM TINSELKITTY all the way! Unlike “some” sites who will remain nameless; YOU have proved your undying loyalty and faithfulness to your readers and we will not forget that.

One more request…I wish Bravo would do some crossover Housewives shows! I’d LOVE to see NeNe “go Oklahoma” on CreepyCamille’s ass. Or Kim Z. giving Kim R. some lessons in how to attract old, rich married men, or some very young stupid ones with strange names and amazing asses. Wouldn’t it be fun to watch KrazyKelly and Phakedra share a box of GummiBears and then get chased up a rainbow by a Unicorn? Just a thought or two…. 😉

One more thing since I’m on a bit of a roll and two pina coloda’s tonight. What about a Facebook page? The FB posts are pretty easy to do and to track too. All you’d probably need to do is cut and paste your blogs from this site. Something to think about…. 🙂

Yeah, I think they’ve got a facebook thing set up but I’ll have to look into it. I don’t facebook myself so I’m a bit on the outside with it. What do y’all think of twitter? Would you be interested in knowing what tinselkitty thinks about something right now? I’ll be honest, I talk during the episodes and there’s no one else around. Any nuggets of comedy gold merely evaporate and drift away. Had I twittered them they’d be around forever. To forever shame me. Hmmm.

@ 5 Rosie: I caught about half of that John Lennon movie last night. Problem was I didn’t find it until 1:00 am and I think it ended at 3:00 am. I didn’t make it. I only got as far as when he first met Yoko. What did you think of the actor playing Lennon? I had trouble adjusting to his voice because I don’t remember the real John Lennon speaking that way. I thought the actress playing Yoko was dead on except that she looked much younger than John and in real life Yoko was several years older.
